Delavan WI.–Allyn Mansion
The Allyn Mansion was built in 1885 and used as a nursing home then furniture store until 1983. It then garnered national acclaim and numerous awards for the restoration back to its former glory.
Delavan WI–Temperance Inn
The Temperance Inn was built in 1840 and used as a hotel into the 1850s. It required high moral character and forbade the use of alcohol. It was later used as a residence and is currently undergoing renovation
Delavan WI–Police Station
While the photo was taken in the 1950s the police station was built in 1878 and is currently a barber shop.
Delavan WI–Pastime Theater
Built in 1928 the Pastime Theater began when “talkies” were all the rage. It has remained unoccupied for several years.
Delavan WI–Delavan Exchange Building
The Delavan Exchange Building in downtown Delavan Wisconsin was built in 1851 and has been the site of numerous businesses.In 1914 upper floors were converted to apartments and balconies were added. Note horse and carriage in upper photo.
